APHetalia: 1600 Italy Cosplay

This was a costume I made for my MA Costume project. Based off lots of research and is even sewn so that it can be worn in the traditional Jacobean style! (The sleeves are detachable and I have to get a servant/pageboy to tie me into it - it is very difficult to put on and take off!)

I decided to wear it as an Italy cosplay at London Expo October 2011. I thought it looked pretty cute!
